Learning Disabilities Federation (North Tyneside)

The Learning Disabilities Federation is a charity in North Tyneside which supports people with a learning disability and their carers.

We began in 1993 as a carer-led organisation and today, we provide information, support, advocacy and care through a variety of specialist services and projects.

We are divided into 3 main projects:

• Services for Children and Families
• Services for Adults with a Learning Disability
• Health and Well Being

A team of trained professionals are supported by core administrators and volunteers, sessional workers and seasonal staff.
